This project explores how high-performing Christians aged 25 to 45 experience pastoral care in Anglican churches. Participants typically work in tech or finance, hold leadership roles, or earn £85,000 or more annually.
Although they are often seen as confident and self-sufficient, many quietly experience spiritual disconnection. Some attend church but feel isolated. Others are uncertain how faith fits into their lives. This research aims to understand their experiences and how the Church can better serve them.
This work forms part of a BA dissertation at St Stephen’s House, Oxford, and is submitted through Durham University's Common Awards programme.
